Congrats! You have officially made your blog or brand and you are looking to progress further. A branding kit has several benefits and will make your life SO much easier once everything is in one spot. From your logo designs, color schemes, which fonts you want to use, etc. Today we will specifically be talking about how to create your branding kit.
First impressions are everything. I’m sure you’ve been told this once or twice in your life, and I hate to be the one to remind you but it truly is, everything. For bloggers or those working in the world of digital marketing the first impression is often your logo. This is where the branding kit that you put your time into, comes into play.

When I was creating my branding kit I was overwhelmed at first and went scrolling through several other blogs to just get an idea of what I wanted. I went on to Canva and looked at templates of logos for what seemed like forever. Finally I set on a design and everything else came easy.
The niche you decided on should play a part in your design of your logo. For example if you have a travel blog, maybe include an airplane, a suitcase or even a car. It doesn’t need to be anything dramatic but it would then give your readers a hint at what blog they would be reading from the very beginning. First impressions are key.
When I started my blog I had a friend ask me what my goal or my mission was with the blog. At first I thought that related back to the niche I decided on and the more I thought about it.. It wasn’t. The mission of your blog shows your personality more than anything. Have you ever gone to a non-profit event or looked in your handbook that your job gave you and seen a mission statement? That is typically a clear indicator at the goals they are trying to achieve. I know that sounds like common sense.. But are you making your goal and mission clear to your readers? Does the font style of your blog show simple and relatable or is it bold and outlying? Do the colors of your website relate to the vibes you are trying to go for?
Once you have your branding kit designed and implemented your content planning will be a breeze.
Again- Congrats on working towards creating the life you have been craving and dreamt of. You deserve it! I am always here if you need anything or have any questions!
